It just feels like

There's a lot of pressure lately, so do something, be someone, that isn't you. I understand people change, and personalities tweak, but becoming someone to impress others, or to reach a certain level of 'pride' (correct me if I'm wrong) isn't being true to yourself. This probably sounds weird. All I'm trying to say is, you have to give respect to get it, no matter who you play out to be. Even then, being honest is the best policy. Let's kill the two-face trend.
